Getting about
Minterne Cottage is in a great location for getting around and seeing the New Forest and surrounding areas, regular buses from local stop go into the Forest as well as into Southampton City.
The Hythe ferry can also be taken into Southampton City and is a great way to see more of the Solent.
Main line trains into Southampton Central (10 Miles) or Beaulieu Road station (4.8 Miles) provide simple access to the New Forest if not arriving by car. Taxi's are available at Southampton station, remember to book taxi ahead if stopping at Beaulieu Road station.
